Jets Sign Former Kansas
All-State Forward Todd
Valley Center Defender Signs...More To Come
The Jets have received a letter of intent from former Northwest High forward Michael Todd. His signing is a big boost, and should add speed and scoring ability up front.
Todd was an All-State selection after his senior year, in which he led the City League in scoring and assists.
He started all four years for Northwest and was a four-time All-City selection. Todd has ODP experience and has gained experience with his club team at a very competitive level.
Casey Hatfield, Valley Center senior, has also signed to play for the Jets next season. Hatfield was an Ark Valley League Honorable Mention defender for the Hornets in the fall.
Coach Brown is busy hosting other recruits to help reload for next year's run at the NAIA National Tournament.
December has seen over 20 recruits on campus from a number of different places.
Several Wichita prep standouts have visitied, including players from Bishop Carroll, Kapaun, South and West high schools.
Area high school talent from Derby, Maize, Rose Hill, Trinity, Valley Center and Winfield high schools have been on campus to talk about becoming a part of the 2002 Jets squad.
Transfers visiting with Coach Brown include players from Tulsa, Cloud County, and Wichita State, as well as international students from Colombia.
Welcome gentleman and enjoy your visits. We look forward to seeing you become a part of the team in the future.
The Jets finished 11-11 during the 2001 season and 2-1 in the MCAC conference.
Thanks Guys, for a great season!
