Newman University Men's Soccer To Close Regular Season Saturday at Benedictine

Wichita, Kan.- The Newman University Jets men's soccer team will travel to Atchison, Kan. on Saturday, November 2 to face Benedictine College in the final regular season match for both teams. Kickoff is scheduled for 3 p.m.

Newman is 11-4-2 on the year. The Jets are ranked #20 in this week's NAIA National men's soccer rankings. The game takes on added importance for Newman, as a victory could help the Jets earn a home game in the opening round of the Region IV tournament on November 12.

Benedictine is 8-7-1 on the season.

Newman and Benedictine have not met in men's soccer in several years.
