Newman University Men's Soccer Moves Up To #20 In NAIA National Poll

Wichita, Kan.- The Newman University Jets men's soccer team moved up a spot to #20 in the NAIA national men's soccer rankings released today. The Jets were ranked #21 in last week's poll.

The Jets defeated University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma, Chickasha, Okla. 2-0 Friday night at home in their only action this week.

Newman is 8-2-1 on the year, 3-1 and tied for first place in the Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference. The Jets take sole position of the number two spot in the Region IV rankings this week behind MCAC foe Park University, Parkville, Mo.

Newman will be at home tonight to take on Manhattan Christian College, Kan. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Wilkins Field on the Newman campus.
