Newman University Men's Soccer Rises to #11 in NAIA National Rankings

Wichita, Kan.- The Newman University Jets men's soccer team is ranked #11 in the NAIA national men's soccer rankings released today. The Jets were ranked #12 in last week's poll.

The Jets defeated Doane College, 4-0 in their only action this week.

Newman is 4-1 on the year.

The next game for Newman is Wednesday, September 18. The Jets will travel to Shawnee, Oklahoma to take on a very strong St. Gregory's University team. Last year, the Jets defeated St. Gregory's 2-0 at Newman. St. Gregory's was ranked #4 and Newman #23 at the time of that match.
