Newman claims both Men's and Women's MCAC Tournament Titles
Newman men's and women's soccer teams each wrapped up MCAC tournament titles over the weekend.

The women's team, which also won the regular season crown, beat Bellevue 1-0 in the semifinals and came back to beat Park University 2-1 to claim the championship.

The men's team beat host and top-seed Park University 2-1 in the semifinals and blanked Bellevue University 2-0 in the final.

Both victories for the men's team avenged regular season losses.

Both teams now advance to the Region IV tournaments in hopes of qualifying for berths in the NAIA National Championship Tournaments in late November.
